Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart, these items can be removed later if you wish. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. If preferred you can also print the order form and send it to us by fax or post or telephone us on 0845 370 10 20 and place your order over the phone.

We accept all major credit cards via our secure server and can accept cheques with orders via the post. We will only take a 20% deposit when you order, the balance will not be charged until your item is in stock and is ready to be delivered. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, e-mail, mail or over the Internet.

Delivery Schedule The Furniture Shop UK offer FREE DELIVERY on all orders over £1250.

Orders under £1250 will be subject to the following delivery price structure.

1 purchased item £25.00 total delivery charge
2 purchased items £40.00 total delivery charge
3 or more purchased items £55.00 total delivery charge if total order is below £1250

We deliver to England and Wales .

For deliveries to Scotland please contact us on 0845 370 10 20 for a delivery charge quotation. We do not deliver outside the UK mainland.

To keep costs to a minimum we only operate one delivery driver per delivery vehicle. Your delivery driver will deliver goods into your home on a ground floor level. If you have poor accessibility to your front door please make sure you can offer assistance to our delivery driver if required.

On large items we will send your goods via a carrier on a pallet who will deliver on our behalf. You will be notified on what day your delivery will be despatched. Due to the size of a pallet your goods will be dropped as close as possible to your door, please make sure you have the necessary help to get your goods into your home.

If you require items such as wardrobes to be taken upstairs there will be a surcharge of £25 as we will provide two delivery drivers for you. (not available on pallet delivery service)

It is your responsibility to ensure that all the goods you have ordered will fit into your home. It is essential that you check the measurements of all access areas e.g. doorways, hallways, stairs, stairwells, etc. to ensure delivery access will not restrict delivery. When you place your order you must inform us of any access restrictions or circumstances which may prevent successful delivery being completed. We are unable to refund orders which cannot be delivered due to restricted access or the items do not fit the room.

Deliveries are normally executed as complete orders and occasionally in several parts, in a case were the customer insists on part delivery for whatever reason additional costs incurred by the company will be charged to the customer at cost the same charge applies if free delivery is given.

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our delivery approximations, however delays can occur and we will not accept claims, indemnification or cancellations of any current order in respect thereof.

If you cancel your order after we have taken delivery of your goods, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee - PRICE PROMISE - All of the products offered from the Furniture Shop UK are excellent value for money, and we belive that our prices are the lowest you will find either on the internet, or in retail outlets.
If you find an item cheaper elsewhere before you buy from us, or 7 days after buying from us, then we will beat the price providing the following conditions are met.
1. The two items must be identical.
2. The price must include VAT and other charges e.g. delivery.
3. The item must be brand new and not ex-display, end of line or returned stock.
4. The item must be the standard price and not in a sale or on special offer.
5. You must provide sufficient information to enable us to verify the price ourselves, e.g. website address.
6. The alternative item must currently be available.
7. The price promise only applies to goods available in the UK.

Returns Policy We want you to be completely delighted with any purchase from Furniture Shop UK and offer a 7 day money back guarantee, with the exception of mattresses, upholstrey and soft furnishings (which are excluded for hygiene reasons)
Should you wish to return your items we will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods. (excluding orginal delivery charge) However the buyer is responsible for any carriage costs involved.

DAMAGED ITEMS
All furniture that we deliver is packed to a high standard. Our in house delivery team deliver a large percentage of the furniture sold and are quite aware of the care needed with each individual item.
Once your purchase is delivered in to your property it is your responsibility to unwrap and check your item for any damage. Our delivery drivers, and out side carriers will wait upto a maximum of 15 minutes for you to check that you are completly satisfied.
Please note that we can not be held responsible for damage once you have signed and accepted delivery. Signing unchecked on the delivery notes will not be accepted in the case of a claim.
