Funky Retro Tulip Chair
Eero Saarinen developed the Tulip armchair in the 1940s, as part of his reasearch of Organic Furniture. MOMA announced a competition for Organic design in home furnishing collection in which Eero Saarinen participated and esigned the now famous Tulip Chair. The Tulip Chair and the corresponding pedestal table and other furniture he developed, represents the peak of Eero Saarinens career. Made from a rigid white seat shell with loose upholstered foam cushion.
