Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart, these items can be removed later if you wish. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. If preferred you can also print the order form and send it to us by fax or post or telephone us on 0333 123 4565 and place your order over the phone.
We accept all major credit cards via our secure server and can accept cheques with orders via the post. Once you place an on-line order, you will get an instant confirmation of the order and the payment vai e-mail.
The Furniture Shop UK offers FREE DELIVERY on orders over £250 subject to location.
Orders under £250 will be subject to our standard £29.00 total delivery charge
We offer additional delivery services over and above our standard door step delivery. These include a two man delivery service charged at £45.00 over and above your furniture purchase, this service is useful if you need heavy items taking inside or heavy items moving into a certain position on ground floor level.
If you purchase items that you would like us to take upstairs we offer a two man delivery service, this service costs £75.00 over and above your furniture purchase.
Please Note, we take the upmost care delivering each item of furniture to our customers. The customer is responsible for making sure the walls, flooring, light fittings or any obsticles in the property are covered or protected when we deliver. The Furniture Shop UK Ltd and any third party delivery partners can not accept any responsibility if any damage is caused as a result of your furniture being delivered.
We deliver to England, Wales & Scotland.
All deliveries to Scotland are charged at £75 for a pallet delivery service.
The following counties in England are charged a flat rate delivery fee of £55.00 Cornwall, Cumbria, Devon, Dorset, Northumberland.
The following counties in Wales are charged at a flat rate delivery fee of £55.00 Clwyd, Dyfed, Gwent, Gwynedd, Mid Glamorgan, Powys, South Glamorgan, West Glamorgan.

To keep costs to a minimum we only operate one delivery driver per delivery vehicle. Your delivery driver will deliver goods into your home on a ground floor level. If you have poor accessibility to your front door please make sure you can offer assistance to our delivery driver if required.
On large items we may send your goods via a carrier on a pallet who will deliver on our behalf. You will be notified on what day your delivery will be dispatched. Due to the size of a pallet your goods will be dropped as close as possible to your door, please make sure you have the necessary help to get your goods into your home.
If you require items such as wardrobes to be taken upstairs there will be a surcharge of £25 as we will provide two delivery drivers for you. (not available on pallet delivery service)
It is your responsibility to ensure that all the goods you have ordered will fit into your home. It is essential that you check the measurements of all access areas e.g. doorways, hallways, stairs, stairwells, etc. to ensure delivery access will not restrict delivery. When you place your order you must inform us of any access restrictions or circumstances which may prevent successful delivery being completed. We are unable to refund orders which cannot be delivered due to restricted access or the items do not fit the room.
Deliveries are normally executed as complete orders and occasionally in several parts, in a case were the customer insists on part delivery for whatever reason additional costs incurred by the company will be charged to the customer at cost the same charge applies if free delivery is given.
We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our delivery approximations, however delays can occur and we will not accept claims, indemnification or cancellations of any current order in respect thereof.
We will always call you in person to confirm your scheduled delivery day, we also give out estimated timed delivery slots. Subject to traffic conditions on the day this could be effected. Please note it is your responsibility to make the necessary arrangements for your delivery.
If you cancel your order after we have taken delivery of your goods, you will be charged a 25% cancellation fee.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

We do not sell or rent your personal identifiable information to third parties. We only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
We want you to be completely delighted with any purchase from Furniture Shop UK and offer a 7 day money back guarantee, with the exception of mattresses, upholstery and soft furnishings (which are excluded for hygiene reasons) Please note that if we are unable to deliver your goods due to poor access a 20% re stocking fee will apply. Please note we are unable to take back items that were delivered flat packed and have since been made up with in the 7 days return policy, even if they have been dismantled.
Should you wish to return your items we will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods. (excluding original delivery charge) However the buyer is responsible for any carriage costs involved returning the goods and items must be returned in the original packaging.
All furniture that we deliver is packed to a high standard. Our in house delivery team delivers a large percentage of the furniture sold and are quite aware of the care needed with each individual item.
Once your purchase is delivered in to your property it is your responsibility to unwrap and check your item for any damage. Our delivery drivers, and out side carriers will wait upto a maximum of 10 minutes for you to check that you are completely satisfied.
Please note that we can not be held responsible for damage once you have signed and accepted delivery. Signing unchecked on the delivery notes will not be accepted in the case of a claim. Any claims for damages must be sent to email@example.com with a picture, any claims after 7 days from your delivery will not be accepted.
We take great care making sure that our prices and products are all upto date, however in the event that a product has been priced incorrectly we reserve the right to not make the product available for sale.
